Bottoms up! *I can use a drink right now
Did you ever feel like you needed a drink, right at that moment?! And the worst part was that you couldn't have one? Not because it wasn't handy, but because you were/are breastfeeding and/or pregnant???
The recipe is in honor of my dear friend who is going to have her first born soon and celebrating this great blessing with her family and friends, making this a great recipe for her celebration!
Feel like a Margarita - how about this Mom-garita?
What you need (ingredients good for 6 people):
12 ounces of frozen limeade
6 ounces of orange juice
10 ounces of water
2 ounces of peach juice
8 ounces of ginger ale
1 cup of ice
6 lime wedges
6 margarita glasses
Pour the salt on a plate, rub the rim of each each glass with a lime wedge, and dip the rims to coat with salt.
Pour the limeade, orange juice, water, peach juice, ginger ale and ice into a blender and blend until smooth.
Serve in the salted margarita glasses, garnished with a lime wedge! Enjoy!
And if you feel like your 'usual' Cranberry Vodka with a twist of lime: substitute the vodka with grapefruit juice (you might not need the lime)!
